I am an Automotive designer from India, undergraduated from MAEER's MIT Institute of Design, Pune.
As a design intern at Tata Elxsi, I had the oppurtunity to work on a short project for Jaguar- Land Rover. My role was to conceptualise multiple products for a range of vehicles. The end result of the project was the selection of my idea, for further development and was sent for a Certificate of Competency (C.O.C).
This was a game changer in my career and my thought process as a designer. Since then I have strived to conceptualise solution with high level of practicality and manfucaturability.
Currently I am a part of a two man project which focuses on the driver stance on a electric mototrcycle (Patent pending) and how it can be different from the conventional motorcycles.
My aprroach towards work always encapsulates the essence of the theme with highest level of detail. While my projects proceed in their timeline, a practicality check along with manufacurability of the concept is considered.
I keep no stones unturned in the process of development and answer every question asked by the project. All my projects have a byproduct of a tangible 3D printed prototype.
I believe every concept should have atleast one tangible outcome for a better understanding of volume and proportions. 3D design development is the most important aspect of any concept if it needs to fulfill the aim of pracitcality.
My Final Master Project (F.M.P) seeks to find an answer for the future of mobility by understanding the evolution of vehicles and their architecture. The graduation year has been a tough year in terms of protoype building and showcasing work for an audience, since majority of prototypes are 3D printed off shore in China.
I see my self as a Creative designer for the industry, who has a knowledge in not only conceptualising products but also prototyping them to the highest detail.

Platooning for better efficiency
An Electric Vehicle along with an aerodynamic volume was the pitch for the concept.
Virtual wind test — The concept achieved a steady drag coefficient of 0.17Cd.
platoon — While platooning the pact achieved a drag coefficient of 0.31Cd. Proving that, while platooning the energy consumption would more efficient.
The project focuses on vehicle aerodynamic efficiency and as result the concept went through multiple virtual wind testing simulations.
