Blindness (literal): deprivation of sight, not being able to see.

Blindness (metaphorical): deprivation of senses, not being able to perceive.

This is my observation and reaction to blindness involved in social and political phenomena, in which people with different cultural background are not able to understand and empathize with each other. This could happen as a result of initiatively or passively deprived of the total truth, by only presenting segments of information or one-sided opinion. Blindness or being blinded is not only the deprivation of our own senses, but also the silencing of different opinions and possibilities.

My work is subjective and personal analysis of this phenomena of blindness, with my own observation and experiences.

*A huge thank you to my personal tutor Jonathan Boyd, who encouraged me "never be afraid of expressing you own opinion".

Fun fact: our brain filters out the information of our noses, and tricks us into believing we cannot see our nose tips when looking straight.
